It was a pleasure returning to Tanner Hall for another wedding reception event. Tanner Hall is a scenic event venue on the shoreline of vast Lake Apopka in Winter Garden. The very happy bride and groom posed for photos at the water's edge prior to the reception, while their guests enjoyed beverages from the bar and a selection of appetizers.
Tanner Hall is a pristine, compact venue with lots of natural light and an attractive vaulted ceiling. There is a dance floor in the center of the building. A particularly nice feature of the venue is its elevated upper veranda which offers a great lake vista with an expansive sloping green lawn that runs all the way to the lakefront. Many couples choose the lakefront gazebo as a setting to exchange vows. Erin and Dean held their ceremony in the beautiful town of Celebration just prior to their late afternoon reception. The lake was stunning at twilight (see gallery link below), and Dean and Erin wore perfect colors (white, gold and black) for the lake and sky backdrop of pale grey-blues and whites. The bride made a stunning appearance against the scenery in a remarkable belted dress that featured a swath of detail below that appeared as a cloud of white roses.

The bride and groom chose a wonderful buffet dinner that included a carving station with slow-roasted prime rib of beef with creamy horseradish sauce, chicken breasts simmered in white wine, a medley of oven-roasted vegetables, Caprese salad with vinaigrette dressing, artisan rolls with butter, chef's baked macaroni & cheese, and roasted trio of potatoes. The bridal colors of black and gold were themed throughout the reception decor.
The pre-dinner appetizer selection included Margarita shrimp, curry chicken mushroom caps, and a beef & potato "martini."
Live entertainment for the reception were provided by the duo "Orlando Dueling Pianos ▅
